Hello there-

I'm sure most of you are aware of this in any case, but I realise I have neglected to mention the subject of faving items in our gallery: Please do not fave from our gallery! Of course it is a great compliment to any artist to receive a fave but it does not end up in their favour if you fave from our club. Same goes for comments! To show your proper appreciation for a piece of art, head on over to the artists own gallery and comment on the piece there.

:bulletred:What is a DeviantArt club?
Well, a club on DeviantArt is essentially an account registered normally under a name reflecting the chief interests of the club. It unites all DA members who share a similar interest - in this case, Red Foxes.

:bulletred:How does it work?
Its very simple. People request to join the club, and we put items in our gallery when our members request a piece of art to be featured in it. Although we are posting the artwork, of course we credit the work to its original owner.
Favourites and comments on the work should be directed towards the original location of the art (in the owners gallery, not ours!).

:bulletred:I want to join! But I don't know how.
Great! You can request to join either by leaving the club a message on the front page, here at the journal, or by sending a note. We'll then add you to our big member list and watch you, and you watch us in return to keep up with our updates. :D

Back under proper ownership!!

~IMPORTANT NEWS, PLEASE READ~

Well! What a ridiculous couple of days its been, trying to retrieve the club from the hands of a wannabe hacker. Thankfully however, this has now been resolved - fortunately with limited damage (just the loss of journal entries, weirdly). I know who it was who stole the club, and though I will not name and shame said person here I will say that this person was certainly old enough to know better.

In any case - since my recent journal entry has been lost, I have also lost the member list. I can add a few names to the list that I had recently granted membership to/already knew of their membership but most I won't be able to recall! So if you are a member, let me know so I can add you to the list again!!

Also, since you're reading this :p if you have created any art featuring a red fox that you are particularly proud of, or even if you'd just like a feature in our gallery, please do send me a hyperlink by note to that art you want featured! It would be really great to get some more art into our gallery :) Thanks!
